What is Global Healing?Encouraging education and awareness of the significant issues surrounding all aspects of healing, including the protection, revitalization and balance of ourselves and Planet Earth. By awakening others to global issues (such as preserving ancient wisdom, protecting natural resources, and embracing cultural wisdom and knowledge) we hope that listeners will develop a deeper appreciation and respect for others, and the planet. Furthermore, we hope that there will emerge more conscious decisions and responsibility for our Earth and its many life forms. We hope that this will unite others and help them to realize that we truly do live in a Global Village.
We are now face-to-face with the reality that our planet's resources, which we once thought to be limitless, are becoming noticeably endangered, scarce and extinct. More than ever, it is imperative that we have sustainable solutions. Fortunately, many visionaries have answered the call, and are passionately devoted to making a difference.
Global Healing will give voice to such healing visionaries. These visionaries are Global Healers. They are protectors of Planet Earth... protectors of Life. They are ones who have collected and preserved ancient wisdom, truths and teachings. They are spiritual leaders, naturalists, herbalists, conservationists, integrative medical practitioners, sustainability practitioners, etc. Each one will be invited to share his or her passion towards the healing of Planet Earth, others, and all living things.
From this information, it is our hope that our listeners will glean an awareness of ways to begin and implement techniques that will support this global village, and accelerate the Global Healing.
The Benefit of Global Healing
As members of this Global Village, we must be accountable and conscious of how we are living in relationship to Earth, to others and to our environment. Just as the influx of information about the reality of global warming is forcing the regulation of fossil fuels and demands for alternative fuel, we also hope that the information we will provide will have such impact. For example, we will discuss how the destruction of the rainforests and the loss of tribal wisdom and knowledge is also a destruction and loss of medical treatments and cures, in addition to contributing to global warming, etc. Furthermore, we hope that it will be very apparent to our listeners that every show topic that we discuss directly relates to them. It is all interconnected. |
