Join us for nine beautiful days in Yelapa, Mexico! Experience a renewed, healthier you!

Our workshops are designed to expand your knowledge of the local healing methods known throughout Central America, as Curanderismo. As you begin to experience the stress free jungle setting of Yelapa, a sensation will start to flow over your being as you realize this might be the first time ,in a long time, that you've really relaxed.

Our healers and locations are carefully selected to offer you, the participant, a rich experience of local healing traditions and customs.

Yelapa is located in the state of Jalisco on the Bay of Banderas. While in Yelapa, we stay up river at Los Naranjos. An elegant eco-retreat center nestled in a jungle garden, with rustic palapa stlye cottages. Workshops are designed to expand your knowledge of the local healing methods known as Curanderismo.

Our classes offer a variety of topics that range from herbal plant walks to spiritual energy healing. This is an invitation to you if you seek healthy alternatives for living a more sustainable life style, we hope you will join us.

Instructors

  • Alicia Rodriguez - Yelapa Mexico WorkshopAlicia Rodriguez grew up in Llano Grande, there she was influenced at an early age by her curandra aunt. On her own, Alicia discovered her natural affinity for plants and healing. Alicia is a master herbalist in her community, who cooks with medicinal herbs and specializes in intuitive healing and energy work.

 

 

  • Santiago - Yelapa WorkshopSantiago was raised in El Tuito, a small agricultural village south of Puerto Vallarta, famous for its raicilla, an agave-based moonshine. At an altitude of about 2,400 feet, El Tuito is situated in a pine and oak forest. Santiago 's grandfather mentored Santiago in his herbal medicine healing methods. Santiago has been a practicing curandero in the area for almost 40 years.

 

 

  • Bethany Staffieri - Yelapa Workshops - MexicoBethany Staffieri has 30 years experience working with plants which naturally drew her into herbalism. Due to a serious health condition, Bethany deepened her understanding of how plants heal the body. Her past 7 years of investigation into herbalism has inspired her to create Concentric Rings in an effort to keep healing traditions alive and shared cross culturally. Bethany is trained and certified as a western herbalist, permaculture design consultant, accredited naturalist, published artist and teacher.

*Note: When planning your flight, plan to arrive in Puerto Vallarta no later than 2pm on Jan. 16 or Jan 25. in order to catch the water taxi to the destination, which departs PV at 4pm!)

$1,695 - Three (3) installments of $565.00. First payment serves as deposit to hold your reservation. Second payment due by November 30th. Final (3rd) payment due no later than December 31st, 2007.

Option 2

$1,599 - Save almost $100!Two (2) installments of $799.50. First payment is a deposit to hold your reservation. Second payment due no later than December 31st, 2007.

Option 3

$1,550 - Pay in full NOW and get the most savings!
One (1) payment of $1,550.00.

*Includes 9 days of lodging while in Mexico, all meals, all workshop classes, entrance fees and transport for scheduled activities, goodbye evening in Puerto Vallarta, water taxi to and from Yelapa, shared van to and from Puerto Vallarta airport.
