World's Leading Internet Talk Show Launches 13-Week Program on ''Global Healing''

GREENSBORO, N.C., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- A new 13-week "Global Healing" program sponsored by VoiceAmerica, the world''s leading Internet talk show, will provide listeners the unique opportunity to explore the crossroads between modern medicine and ancient healing traditions found in indigenous cultures around the globe.

The program will be hosted by Amy Greeson, a North Carolina-based pharmacist, educator, lecturer, writer and world traveler, and by Bethany Staffieri, a California-based herbalist and permaculture consultant who conducts continuing education programs for healthcare professionals on indigenous healing therapies.

Scheduled for 10 a.m. EST on Tuesdays, "Global Healing" is an hour-long program available online at VoiceAmerica's Health and Wellness Channel.

"We're scheduling guests who will help us explore a broad range of healing traditions - from spiritual approaches to conservation and sustainability issues to powerful herbal therapies based in centuries-old traditions," Greeson said. "We hope listeners will find our programs to be as entertaining as they are educational."

Amy Greeson is a pharmacist, educator, lecturer, writer and world traveler who is most at home at the crossroads between modern medicine and the healing traditions of indigenous cultures.
