Dandelion Root Coffee- 8 oz. of cut and dried Dandelion Root ( Taraxacum officinale )
- Roast root in a dry cast iron skillet until it has darkened like coffe. Careful not to burn it.
- Cool the roasted root
- Grind the root in a coffee grinder
- Process as you would coffee
Try adding:
- vanilla bean
- cinnamon
- cardamom
Serve hot or cold with milk or sweetner
Skullcap Sleepy Time Tea- 1 full teaspoon dry Skullcap ( Scuetellaria lateriflora )
- Pour 8 oz. boiling water over herb
- Steep for 4 min.
- Sweeten if desired
- Drink at bedtime
